Daniel Kenton Parker
Daniel Kenton Parker, 34, of Marble, passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on Oct. 4, 1983, at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, Wash., to John and Lana Parker.
Kenton, also known by KP, was named after the frontiersmen Daniel Boone and Simon Kenton. Kenton is survived by a sister, Joslyn Parker-Booth and husband Michael Booth; a nephew, Malachi Haines; and a large extended family.
Kenton enjoyed life, but he also pursued and wrestled with a deeper meaning and purpose. Kenton found peace with his Lord during the latter weeks of his life, but still struggled with the mental and physical aspects of daily living.
Family will observe a private memorial service, and asks that you memorialize Kenton by extending love and working for peace with one another.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, was in charge of arrangements.
