Barbara Sue Prince
Barbara Sue Prince, 68, of Topton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at her local residence.
She was born in Macon County to the late Wayne and Lillian Mann Wilson. Barbara worked in the cafeteria at the Lee Co. in Andrews. In addition to her own children, she was “Granny” to many other children in the community. Barbara lived her life for her family. She never thought of herself and always put her family first.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Prince Hester, and one son, Joe Wilson.
She is survived by one daughter, Bobbie Prince; two sisters, JoAnn Solesbee and Violet Seller; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at noon Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. The Rev. Steve Cochran officiated. Burial was be in Aquone Cemetery in the Nantahala community.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
